downpipe.

there's like 4 different types of down pipes to get. Which do I go with for best performance ? With or w out a cat? Should I buy one or have one made and keep the stock flanges? I'm learning as I go. First turbo car so I'm getting as much help as I can

Catless is gonna give you more HP than a catted DP. As far as the brands go a lot of people choose the ZZP Catless since the fitment is perfect and ZZP makes great products. If you do go catted you will want to get the angled O2 bung to help with throwing a CEL. Otherwise a custom tune you can have this code removed.

Here you go: BAD-MAB.com

$135 shipped anywhere in the continental US. I'd hate to see you overpay.

Thanks,
Brad

Badmab has bad fitament with regards to the O2. It also knocks your tip off-center in the bumper relief.

Buy ZZP for hassle-free install. Buy ZZP catted DP for hassle-free inspection.

I don't see anywhere in his post where he's claiming that. Other than stating that the BadMab is made in China he said nothing else.

Also, not sure where the Turbo XS stuff is made, but if it's made in the USA, then I'm more likely to buy it, and I'll even pay more for it becuase I like to support the home team.

TurboXS is American. I have the catless DP. Went right on, no codes, nothing rubbing or bumping. Polished stainless steel so if someone were laying under your car looking at it they's say ooooo shiny!

Serious though, it's my favorite mod. Most smiles per mile of any of them I've done. Just listening to it is great!

thanks man. ima order that thing tomo. what about exhaust though? i dont wanna pay 5-700$ for a bolt up system when i can get the local shop to make the same 3" exhaust for 150... and there i can have it ran under that rear bar(the one with all the holes) and mashed to fit so it doesnt rub. this way i can have it kind of slanted. know what i mean?

I kept the factory cat back. This way my car is only loud when I'm getting after it. I drive 40 miles each way to work every day. Some mornings I just don't want it to be very loud, and with the stock cat back it isn't.

I'm not sure why you would want to route your exhaust under the twisting beam.... seems like everything on the road would hit it.
