Drivers seat warning!!

DO NOT TRY TO TILT THE DRIVERS SEAT FORWARD!!!

I was doing some spring cleaning today and after vacuming the rear seat and trying to tilt the drivers seat back the lever lifts but the seat is not moving at all.... It is now on the way to the dealer for a new drivers seat behind a tow truck seeing as there is no way to drive it with the seat tilted full forward!

First major issue with the car lol 18 high performance cars and this one has to be towed due to a busted seat... almost embarrasing at least its not a diff and wont cost me $3000 like the Mustang everytime I drove it!!

Yah no that's not what I mean/ After it's locked into place it will still shift a little bit on harder accels and stops.

I don't have an SS/TC but I get this all the time. It's a weird sound, almost like it's locking into place.. But it already is when the noise happens.

Oh there are two handles to pull?? Im more mad cause I charged up my video cam and installed my cruise cam mount and had it all ready to go make some crazy high speed videos!! on the plus side tow truck driver said it was the cleanest car he had ever hooked, and I got to use my onstar lol they were looking at gps and said "sir it looks like the car is in your driveway" yep thats usually where I clean it, it runs great just cant fit behind the wheel to drive it

You could've probably also saved yourself some money on the tow by just sticking the passenger seat on the driver side to get it to the dealer. Only two bolts in the back hold them down, so it takes about a minute to pull one out.

I thought I had the same problem the first day I bought the car. You really have to pull on the handle and push it hard against the seat because the seat back actually gets into the way of it. I hope yours was actually broke and its wasn't the fact that you weren't pulling hard enough.

Save money on a free tow?? Roadside Assistance GM paid the bill not me lol and the mechanism is all bent or something so they are changing it out plus the tech scratched the door sill plastic and now there gonna swap that out for a new one which is a hell of a deal cause I tore a huge hunk out of it last winter so now it will be all new and shiny again and all free!

Lol I thought I were gonna say
something like " don't ever pull the lever when ur head is in the front seat area " cuz that would smart.. I can say I've that before lol cuz I was intending on getting the area between the seat/console so I need the seat out of the way, so I reached
back, pulled, and bam! Headshot! I gotz madz.
