drivetrain noise
drivetrain noise
So when I let the clutch out (in any gear including reverse) it makes a "clunking" noise. Took it to the stealership took the tech for a ride he heard it also but can't find anything wrong. I still have some powertrain warranty left. Is this another "it is what it is" deals? That sound in my truck would be a ujoint going out.
Thoughts?
Thanks

That sound is the monkey in your transmission changing gears for you. Everybody has it. Welcome to Cobalts!
Not sure what you mean by "ujoint going out" but the trunk sound is also normal. Some sort of evap purge thing. The ticking in the engine compartment is the cam-driven high pressure fuel pump.
Is there a "these are all the crazy but normal sounds the SS/TC makes" thread?
