Question DTC P2096 help???

I have a 2009 Cobalt SS with the following mods; K&N Typhoon SRI, Injen Intercooler Tube, MPX 3" SS Exhaust w/Spun Cat, MPX Pulley and a Superchips Cortex program with a 91 tune. The problem I'm running into is I'm throwing a CEL. I ran a diagnostics which revealed the following engine code: Engine Code # P2096 Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean bank 1. Has anyone experienced this, if so, any suggestions on how to rectify the problem.

It's the downpipe and "cat". You'll have to get a real tune to disable P2096. I have the same downpipe with cat, and I have P013, P0420, and P2096 all disabled.

I called Modern Performance today and they recommended that I go with the Trifeca Tune to rectify the problem. I wish they would have told me this before I bought the exhaust from them, now I'm looking at an additional $500.00 to tune the vehicle. Which tune did you install? Thank you for your help!

Shoulda searched. I've mentioned that their catted downpipe doesn't appropriately prevent codes. Only the Hahn one does so far.

HP Tuners has everything that Trifecta offers, pretty much. BYT offers tunes via email, if you can get someone to hook up to their HP Tuner laptop. Otherwise you could also buy HPT yourself.

Trifecta isn't $500. You can buy the HPT suite for $450.
