You guys have it wired wrong if it takes 5 min, and/or jumper incorrect.

I never lock my car unless i go somewhere but at work and at home i dont lock it. Ill have to see when i get home from work how long it takes for them to shut off. Last night i got home and watched for a couple minutes but i left to go onside my house to eat then after i came back out and they were off.

interceptor takes like 2 minutes to shut down lol. No big deal. If your battery dies from that thing being on for 2 mins with the car off, you need a new battery.

Yes. I tapped the pink wire off the boost gauge with a Posi-tap (they are awesome) for power, and removed the jumper on the Interceptor, and then ran the OBD2 line. Super easy.

Generally followed this guide, with the addition that you need to pull the jumper:

The only reason I have unplugged the gauges is if the balt is sitting longer than 5 days, I'm sure it said something like that in the manual. But that is very little as the balt is my Daily Driver in the summer. Even with my radar detector I have never had a dead battery from the toys.
