Ive had my car since June of 08 and tuned since march of 09 without a single problem. Its fully bolted and tuned. I did not do a single thing to my fuel system because i am not running a bigger turbo. Ryan (scythesnake) who is pushing 542whp out of his cobalt has the 5th injector added and some other goodies from ZZP i cant remember right now. Listen to us man and dont spend money that you dont have to. A turbo swapped LSJ will run different AFRs than your LNF. Those people obviously have little to no experience with direct injection. But hey if you wanna throw your money at them and blow your **** up then be our guest. In for the "oh **** i blew up my motor" thread

I will tell you what I did on a dynojet. Here it is.

The mods are Intake, upper charge pipe, intercooler, BPV, highflow catted DP, 20psi BYT tune.

More than likely im making a bit more with my 24psi BYT tune now. clutch slips alot easier, lol..

Re-reading your first post, i'd say you should be able to make just over 300whp but the dyno numbers are right on.

Here it is.my car was hahns tester I guess you can say.I bought it with all hahn mods. Can you check my Sig out.ill pause for a bit because it was all hahn.............................................. ........

The only good thing Hahn makes is there downpipe and exaust and it even rattles. All there parts are made with steel. So therefore rust. Also there innercooler is junk simply said. I blew my endtanks off more then I have fingers. Which is 10 lol. But I've broke the endtaks themselves 8-9 times. Simply put. Zzp and treadstone for parts or you can go with turbotechraci.g for vendor parts. Aarons great.

Horseshit.

12.9 afr in some instances can achieve slightly higher peak hp, but is definitely not optimal for engine longevity or torque.

Run an afr in the 13s and your engine isn't going to live long.

Im on the stock turbo, I dont need a BOV. The stock turbo has an integrated BPV in it. I just replaced the rubber diaphragm BPV with a forge motorsport piston style BPV. Less likely to fail, and sounds cool, plus interchangable springs (although I probably will only ever leave it on green.)

pics.

Nothing wrong with Hahn except they dont support the cobalt community anymore, their parts are way over priced, and sometime unreliable. One thing everyone here will proclaim is that their exhaust does sound good.

MPx, BYT, TRE, ZZP among other vendors on this forum are some of the best places to find aftermarket for the cobalt ss. The cost is better and even the quality is better in some cases.

Have you ever seen an after market intercooler blow up (not bottom out but blow a hole through the sheet metal endtank)? I have. It was a hahn one. There is a pic of it somewhere on this site.

Oh yeah and **** the BSR tune. Find a good tuner and get HPTuned. There has to be someone around you look in the regional threads.

I've got that same wallet! Yours probably has more money in it than mine, though.
