e-brake problem

i dont know if there is a how to guide but here it goes. I put my new hawk pads on last night went well but when i went to park my car there is no tension what so ever on mr e-brake. Had my brother under the car while pulling the e-brake movement at all. Did the linkage come loose somewhere? Your coments of help please? If nor back to stock and off to the dealer

Probably just needs to be adjusted. The adjustment is under the handle. Just pull off the rear cupholder and then the panel that goes around the e-brake handle. You'll see the adjustment. I think it's 12MM.

I have your answer:

Underneath the ebrake lever is where the linkage connects. While doing the rear brakes, it is common for the two ends of the cable to become dsicnnected from the lever mecanism. To fox this, open the area near the lever, and simply reconnect the two ends of the cable to to the mecanism.
