from all the dash shot i've seen.....does the ss/tc not have an engine temp gauge?

 

like its digital.. you have to hit the info button on steering wheel..

It is a digital gauge. You press a button on your steering wheel to change what is displayed. One of the choices is the engine temp gauge along with tire pressure, fuel economy, odometer, trip odometer, and more.

yea, but i was reffering to the 08's

 

the 05's have the same thing too, and 06's, 07's, i think ALL cobalts have it setup that way, ya? no? someone spot me on this one, not 100% sure but that's how i remember it from when I was workin at the dealership 2 years ago.

 

The digital display on the speedo reports out quite a few things...

Oil Life % Remaining
Engine Coolant Temp
Avg. Vehicle Speed
Avg. MPG
Instant MPG
Tire pressure FL & FR
Tire pressure RL & RR

There might be one or two more things...can't remember for sure.

I would assume so, but don't know for sure - this is my 1st 'balt.

 

i'm pretty sure that's how it is with all cobalts since day 1

my 06 has all that except for tire press.they need to put Oil Press in there

 

And oil temp.

Oil pressure and oil temp are must haves on any performance car.

 

Agreed. You can read the oil temp with a scanner (or the interceptor obd2 gauges) but GM still didnt put an oil pressure sensor on the car! grrrr.
