Cool Few questions & thoughts/opinions

1st. for the dejon charge pipe i am ordering, should i spend the extra $60 on the couplers and t bolt clamps? anybody have any probs with theirs bc they didn't get them?

2nd. bpv spring upgrade, worth it? sound diff? install? any info is good

3rd. I am now done with my list of "before tuning mods" that i promised myself i would get before i tune, is their anything else i should consider purchasing?

my completed list of "before tune mods" includes..

1.) INJEN CAI (i plan on switching to a dejon or k&n sri, in the future.. no time soon)
2.) DEJON CHARGE PIPING (RUNNING THE STOCK BPV)
3.)ZZP CAT-LESS DOWNPIPE

anymore suggestions for key* pparts before i tune? i figured i would target the most restrictive areas first

intercooler is out of the question, i was thinking of swapping the huuuuge muffler we have..

any info helps,
Thanks!

First off get t-bolts for sure, you don't want the pipes denting your hood (especialy if you are going to tune and raise your boost)

Second I have not heard good things about that spring

Third, get a downpipe and all other bolt ons that you want such as an intake and intercooler prior to tuning. if you get them after you will need to tune again to get maximum gains or even for drivability.

^^^ agree! get the clamps and couplers. def worth it. you really dont want to scratch your hood make sure everything is tight.

2nd spring install is cake! jus make sure you tighten the bolts evenly. but it sounds like sex, big difference.

3rd i would go with a downpipe as well. i love my hahn catless DP and I def saw bigger gains with that then intake, and CP.

1) Get silicone couplers and T-bolt clamps.
2) Spring is pointless(more of a sound mod)...with an intake and tune you don't need it.
3) Catless or Catted DP is fine...depending on where you live.

You don't NEED to tune for an Intercooler swap, but you can if you'd like to...

1) Get the upgraded couplers and t-bolt clamps
2) BPV spring I think is a waste
3) Start saving for a clutch upgrade with the new found power of a tune

Nope, I opted for the T-bolt clamps and the upgraded couplers. I have had my Dejon CP for 6 months now and no problems and I am Trifecta tuned. If your gonna do it, do it right.

the couplers do suck. my buddy is running them and one of them is starting to blow apart. i would reccomend the t clamps as well. my pipes blew off driving down the highway

the BPV spring isn't worth it. i put mine in and ended up taking it back out. plus, you take the chance of tearing the diaphragm in there when u take the old spring out. my spring is just laying it my bedroom now.

and yes, you better start saving for a clutch. i only had my car tuned for a week before the clutch started slipping. now i do drive my car in a spirited manner. so if you drive your car like me, get a new clutch

This is def. true with the 08's when tuned with a stock clutch you WILL in fact get slippage. The 09's are different in some way, shape or form...I cannot get my clutch to slip unless I floor it in 5th at low rpms...since you have an 09, you should be fine on the stock clutch.
