iT seems that the TC sits a bit higher than the SS/SC . I'm pretty sure GM changed the spring rates and that might be the cause .
Any motor work done to the Vette? Which one is faster?
anyways that is a great color blue , i had a 02 Z24 that was almost the same color and i loved it.

Not much motor work done to the Vette. I bought it when I was 16(4years ago), and have been rebuilding it since. Ive countless hours and money into the suspension/steering, body, brakes, cooling system, exhaust, carburetor, rear-end and axles, transmission etc. etc., I cant even remember anymore. Everything except the actual long block has been restored, that is my last project. Im just finishing Paramedic school, once Im done a 383 stroker will be replacing the current 350. Off the line with the 3.70 rear, the Vette would definitely take the TC, however, the 3.70 with no OD really holds it back over 70ish. Heres what it looked like when I first got it:

As you can see the front suspension was completely blown so the body was practically on the tires, and the original rear leaf spring was falling apart so the back is a little higher. Also, some ass painted over the original black somewhere along the way, so I felt obligated to put it back to the original black/red.
GOD....what I would give to just ride in one of these. A guy down the street from me just bought one. Im thinking of just staying out front of his door beggin for a ride until he gives in. The dealer I got my TC from had 2 of them, a red one and a light blue metallic one (forget the actual name.) I love the blue, its a throwback to the '69 Electron Blue.
yah yah...I did the best with what I had to work with haha. That school is the only place close to my house with somewhat of a decent background for a picture. Im a paramedic in Cambridge Ma, what Id like to do is get some pictures along the Charles river with the Boston skyline in the back...that might look better than the over grown grass and trees haha. But hey, Im no photographer!

Beautiful Z06 and SS Turbo. Nice stable going there. Wished I lived in Cali so I wouldn't have to store mine from November to April in the garage here in Michigan. 07 Rally Yellow Supercharged SS, never seen snow or rain. And I like it that way!
Thats a cool first car, i know all the work that can go into restoring . My first car was a 1972 Nova SS with a 350SBC and turbo350 transmission with 4.10's in the 12bolt rear. I spent alot of money getting it repainted and swaping the motor and tranny out for a 425hp 427BBC with a M-22 muncie, then putting 4.56's in it . Took me about 3 years to get it where i wanted it . I was 17 then in 1992 and still have it , i doubt i'll ever get rid of it .
