First 1/4 Run in the 2010 TC
Hey all, so finally made it out to a 1/4mi track to see what I could run and only got one pass in and was kind of disappointed.
60'...2.61
330...6.44
1/8...9.38
1/4...13.9@107.39
Whats the best combination as far as rpm's on stock tires for a good launch? I'm thinking that the 5k limited on launch control is a bad idea because it will either wheel hop like a champ or spin. Any input would be appreciated. *this run I left the line easing into first and second until about 2,500 rpms then slowly laid into it and still spun a bit until around 4,300rpms*

I launched at 2500 on the stock tires with them at about 23psi. Launch control=fail. at least in my book. I run with ESC off. Got a 13.9 that way at 103. Minimal spinnage and NLS 1-2 and 2-3. Dunno how gms1 is but thats how i did it 100% stock
Im thinking just a track day and trying different configs is best. Maybe 25-28psi in tires, and trying to launch at 500rpm intervals to figure out whats best. Shib, think easing out of 1st n 2nd is best or just let it spin in 2nd til it catches?
i havnt been back to the track yet with the new launch control feature but my avg 60ft is 2.4 lol
should be a lot better with the new lc setting!
im shoting for high 12's...best so far is a 13.2 on nitto neo gens with 26psi in tires
trifecta tuned to 23psi...and full bolt ons cept 3in exhaust
should be a lot better with the new lc setting!

best I've seen with my stock tires and current mods are 13.3, wanted to adjust tire PSI but didn't make it to the track in time, most I saw was 24 PSI while running using NLS

Is it really better to hack up the ecu controller over installing a 2-step wot box? just saying... the wot box will allow you to piggy back an rpm controlled trigger like nitrous, or methanol, or cry02 setup, etc etc. Is there some reason were all hellbent on using the default ecu to launch control?

12.9 at the bash!
