So I ordered a forged BPV from Modern Performance and installed it yesterday, first off I would like to say WOW to Modern- ordered it Monday afternoon, the BPV was here Wednesday at noon, pretty awesome! The install was a little annoying but not to bad, I left the spring in that came with it as that is what I read on here, ( I have standard bolt ons and tune, so if you think I should put the other spring in LMK) only complaint I have about the product is honestly I thought it was going to be a little louder, its only a tad louder over the stock one which is a little disapointing, but anyway, that's my .02!

 

Yeah the BPV does not change sound much, the intake (K&N, Injen, Ect.) allows you to hear it more than the BPV mod does.

 

from what i had seen on here people were saying that it does get a little louder, and on their website it says " want the sound of a BOV without having to get special charge piping and relocating your MAF" lol but its all good still a good buy, and really impressed with the customer service I got.

 

Agreed on MPx customer service and quick shipping. I ordered a meth kit from them last wensday and it was sitting on my porch on sat afternoon when i got home from school!!

As far as the valve itself, i love my Forge valve and K&N combo. To me its 10x louder over stock.

as TTR said i think its the intake that makes the difference in noise not the BPV, my car already had an injen CAI on it when i bought it so idk what it sounds like stock, but the BPV made a tiny diff in sound
