Front strut tower brace for SS/TC?

Does anyone make a front strut tower brace for the 08-10 SS/TC?

No, Really on cobalts there isnt much difference. There will be the people that say "OMGZ...YOUZ CRAZY, ITS TIGHTZ N WORKZ WELLZ" To each there own. You will notice a bigger difference with a rear sway bar.

Will a rear sway bar mess up the balance of the vehicle dynamics?

Depends on how stiff you go on the bar. For example, if you get a very stiff rear bar without stiffening up the front, you could get too much over steer.

It really is a driver balance, some want a lot of over steer/under steer while others prefer it to be balanced.

it will defintaely make the car tigheter feeling. the 1.25" bar does cause of a bit of oversteer but theres ways to make the car feel nuetral.

as far as a strut bar goes...no one makes one as of yet and even on the cars that have them. they dont do anything for our cars. the strut towers are spot welded to the firewall and fender rails on the side. the cars pretty solid overall.

Ya I have read some stories of base Neon owners. Most of the base Neons do not come with a rear sway and they add a very stiff SRT-4 rear sway without touching the wimpy front stock one at the same time. Then they wonder why their rear came loose when they were going around a turn at close to normal speeds.

we have a 1 piece front end... and you notice the strut towers are part of the body... meaning... the front strut bars have no use, it's all ready a rigid part

It still adds rigidity to a point though.

when i went from my 06 ss 2.4 to my 2010 ss t/c, first thing i thought is "how the hell could you make this thing handle any better?" it really glues the the road.. other than lowering the vehicle for looks i dont see a weak point in how it handles, i think the car will take the corners to point of where the tires are the weak point and break loose.. ive took some tight turns well over 120kmph and never even have heard a churp.. also the brakes are excellent.. im loving this car and cant see me spending too much money on handling parts..

its not bad stock...but get a ottp street bar and its WAY better, then get pedders springs and you have a mint handling track capable car. I have the ottp hardcore bar and it makes a huge difference. pedders are awaiting install handling can always be made better by tunning or adding parts, it just money.

Wider tires on the rear will help. Or just go with a 1.00" street bar. I have no noticeable oversteer or understeer.

I agree my car is so tight with the Pedders springs and OTTP street bar. My 18K mile stock tires are the limiting factor right now.

It'll take you like 10min and anyone who able to change there own oil should be able to do this.

Crawl under the rear of your car, hold bar up, insert bolts, tighten bolts down, Go driving!
