i was at sonic the other night in tulsa ok. where everyone cruises. and a brand new v6 camaro pulls in next to me, they roll down there window and it was to teenage girls. and one girl says she has a cobalt but she wouldnt be seen cruisin in it. so i say is it a ss and she says yeah but it still has the hub caps on it. then she asked if i got my wing at autozone, all i could do was just roll my window up in discust. aint that about a bitch!!

 

You should have asked if they wanted to race, maybe that would have shut them up...

 

Should have told her that you could have bought a castrated V6 Camaro for the same price but you didn't want to be slow.

 

wow most girls dont care about the car. they only care about how high the price tag is. the higher the better. like a wallmart purse vs coach or the other brands that cost and arm and a leg. but they all do the same thing they hold all there crap.

 

i could have bought that car right from our lot. but i went through the trouble of dealer trading and driving almost 400 miles to get a tc cobalt. fyi mite have been one closer but that was the closest one with the options i wanted. our dealership has 5 rs and 3 ss camaros right now. and we have never sold a ss cobalt exept mine

LOL...cobalt might not have the looks of a lambo but I think it still looks alrite in its own unique way,I went throught the trouble of having mine shipped from Ohio to Mass, I got my ss/tc for strictly performance,if I wanted luxury or looks I couldve picked up a decent audi a4 or a 3 series for 17k but w.e. Ever since my friend built his 02 bug eye upto 350whp all I wanted was a tuner. I got a low rise tho, stayin d-lo from the pigs. That camaro was prolly her daddy's and she ended up crashing it that night. Don't pay attention to her man,atleast ur not a ricer in a 92 civic hatch.

 

Honestly, I would have told her that Cobalts looks better than the new Camaros do from behind. Then I would have shown her my taillights in the only appropriate way.

 

maybe No, I'm just in an area where you only see a SS cobalt 1 time in every week or so. (In Michigan that is), and I have a University in the next town over. However in NC, I don't get that many good looks, because most people have SRT-4s, CSRT-4, or pukestangs. So yeah, my looks aren't always the greatest, especially when I start pulling away from them

 

IMO you did the right thing:

1] best case- no one I know needs more enemies, and the chicks might eventually learn enough about the car to appreciate it, which would be worthwhile, even if they never talk to you again;
2] worst case- you shouldn't engage in a battle of wits with the unarmed. It's as useless as trying to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.

The funny thing is I usually just say "it's just a Cobalt" when referring to my car, even though pretty much every one of my friends thinks it's a "really nice car." huh. Stupid bitches.

 

that's what i tell everybody haha that's funny cause my friend hates it when i call my car a peice of **** or slow and everybody at school always starts rumors or asks questions that's all i usually tell them unless on the rare occasion a person that might actually know something about cars comes up.

 

No one thinks my car is that cool either until I take them for a ride. The first time I took one of my buddies for a ride he was about a white as a sheet. I guess he though we were going to die going around one of the corners at 100 mph. That and he was amazed at the amount of torque this puny 2.0L motor makes.
