Those are Graphite color, NOT BLACK. They are done using a powder coat like process and are a dark gray. They were real smooth and shiny They asked what you would pay for them to be done as a option NOT for the whole wheel, so we were saying its like 50-60 a wheel to powder coat hence the $200 option. I love these and would say I'd prolly pay $200-250, maybe 300.

No...

Not a fan of black or black looking rims.
Alley is right, Gun Metal would probably be pretty sexy!

I voted no on me paying for them but I would love to see GM offer this as an option. I think silver would be a good base color at no charge. Black could be a $300 option and polished could be a $500 or $600 option. I have a feeling if offered that 2 out of 3 would leave the factory with black wheels. Im just a shiny wheel person myself

Did you read the info?...this would be an option. Cost would be $200+ for the stock SS/TC wheels to be painted this color.

sorry about the misconception... but my vote still would have been no. if feel that much for an option people can go out and powdercoat for less

powder coating costs about 60-75 bucks a rim, depending on the shop, and thats only priced on 4 wheels, now if gm did a mass load im sure they could get it for way cheaper but, 240-300 should be the most it would/should cost. anymore than that is ridiculous. but those do look nice.

i think i just pee'd myself. as long as the paint or whatever it is isn't cheap (cracks, bubbling, flaking) i'd take it. they look really hot and i think they look way better than the silver ones. i too would also like to see some polished wheels though.

as a option on the SS/TC I'd be willing to pay about $300-$400 extra. And I would buy them.

As long as they aren't >$300 a rim I will probably buy them for the SS/SC we already have too.

They should have them as an option, but you shouldn't have to pay anything extra. It's just paint......normally polished wheels are actually more expensive.

I agree.

Matt(spelling?) black would be my choice with a body colour pin stripe.

its not just normal paint on rims, they explained it there, but its similar to powder coating. again we all told them, we could get after market powder coating for 50-70 a rim and if they wanted to do this it would have to be comparable. They want these available to us and I think they will listen. If its a go, they said they'd be ready REAL soon.

Those look great, especially on a yellow car. I would love to see them on a black one. Now I'm considering getting the t/c wheels for my s/c haha. I think $300 at the most considering it's the same wheel, just painted.
