My local dealer quoted me $685 labor, what does your dealer charge per hr of labor $200? That's outrageous.

This. $500 around here will get it done in someone's backyard on a weekend with only floor jacks.

Lol so many cheap asses in here. Book time is 8.1 hours for a clutch and 6.1 for warranty (which obviously doesn't apply here since it's customer pay) and that's what you're going to be billed at regardless of how long it actually takes

Even at 8 hours that's should be around $800 based on the common $90 and hour rate. My dealers wants 1285

Only difference between the GMPP and LNF clutch is the disc itself. Both are extremely capable of holding big power. FWs are almost identical too. Smaller dowels on LNF FW I believe. LuK manufactures an OEM LNF replacement FW that can be had for $110-120.

My 40k stocker is holding 378ft/lbs. However, I just picked up another stocker to replace it as my TOB/slave is dying and if I'm going in there, I might as well replace it all.

Fwiw, my previous RY sedan held well over 400ft/lbs running ethanol without a hiccup. The clutches are VERY capable

Then they obviously charge more then the "normal" rate. Around my area a shop would never be able to survive at $90 an hour

The HHR clutch kit is the stock clutch. The LSJ clutch upgrade is the GMPP (19212712)
