gms1 dyno numbers?

This performance upgrade maintains no-lift shift feature on Cobalts and HHR's and adds it for the Solstice/Sky.
Note:

Solstice SKY HP & Torque ratings:
290HP @ 5,200 RPM
MT 340 lb,-ft of torque @ 3,600 RPM
AT 325 lb,-ft of torque @ 3,600 RPM

HHR HP & Torque ratings:
290HP @ 5,200 RPM
MT 315 lb,-ft of torque @ 4,800
AT 315 lb,-ft of torque @ 4,800

well since learn down is IIRC reduced or eliminated all together with GMS1, yes it will probably boost it a bit.

I dyno'd at 285 on GMS1, 91 octane and fully bolted. Didn't get a tq number unfortunately...
Numbers in my sig are on E85 with Terminator tune at 26psi

you drive a 359hp FWD car in the winter? you sir either have a set of brass *****, or a winter tune. haha

also OP needs to keep in mind that those numbers are crank HP numbers advertised... not the dyno numbers at the wheels we are posting. so the numbers given by some members are pretty close to the driveline loss estimates.

Is the higher peak torque from a small displacement engine with a turbo like the K04 really a surprise? Those are just peak numbers. The HP is so much lower because the torque is relatively short lived.

also you have to take in account where you live. down here living next to the gulf at/below sea level, we will read higher than someone in denver, as an example. that's why royal purple raceway is considered one of the faster tracks by nhra because of the sea level.

I do use my GMS1 tune in the winter, but only because the car won't start on E85 in the cold.
Winters in Colorado are cold but sunny so the road surface is mostly dry; snow melts away in a day or two so 359hp is no problem. In fact, on Sunday at the local road track I'll be on my E85 tune

I wish. Dyno numbers are typically corrected for altitude and barometric pressure. Quarter mile numbers will obviously be faster at sea level, but dyno numbers should be comparable.
If not I'm probably making 400whp yay lol

ah that could be it. i remember hearing something about the intake system. always assumed the squished upper charge pipe would fall into that category.
