one comes with quick connects so there is no soldering or heatwrapping needed. the other doesn't.

Go with the adapters. Best money you'll ever spend.

yup i installed this on my 09 4dr- picked it up with the adapters- great easy-ish install the lower sensor is a royal pain to squeeze my arm in there.
but no soldering no mess, the dealer reflashed it in 30 minutes and
wow this thing is fast, and faster every time i punch it.
I can see why the EVO and WRX STi have so many fanboys.
the Cobalt is a Sleeper and it is certainly is a real contender now against these guys on an open track.
i can't imagine drag racing it though trying to control the torque steer
chirp chirp 1-2-3.

Definatly buy the plug and play kit. I just went GMS1 about 3 weeks ago. Install was cake. Just make sure youfollow the directions. The TMAP sensor that goes in by the intercooler will be kind of a bitch but other than that its easy

it's a good tune. doesn't make as much power as trifecta or HP but less chance of breaking your drivetrain adn i guarantee you'll smile the first time you hammer the gas after it's installed. i gained almost 40wph and 80wtq.

well to get the full gain out of an intake/DP/IC pipes..yes. but with GMS1 you get gains but not the full gains. atleast thats what ive gathered from reading about GMS1 with bolt ons.

i started a thread a month or 2 ago ----->https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/08-1...lt-ons-272720/

I went DP and Trifecta 20/24 psi for the first year. Trifecta E85 for the second year at 18/21 psi. Third year is E47 and HPTuners at 21 psi. At 24 psi, I roast my clutch, so that's next.

The power made in that video is a little higher than most will get.

Still close enough.

Intake and DP should net pretty close to 300whp
