Modifying the exhaust in any way is technically illegal here. GM Performance exhausts are technically the only legal ones because they can be considered "OEM"
well for smog...it dont matter after the cat...but for police authorities...it depends on how loud it is

You don't need to do that....
Just have them do a pretest and see if you pass...then you can go ahead. I can almost guarantee that they will NOT see the DP difference! Other pipes..sure but they will MENTION something first in the pretest.

well the visual would also include looking at my aftermarket intake and charge pipes. i can see a tech not familiar with the ss/tc not thinking anything of the charges pipes, but the intake is pretty obvious.

Like I said, I had Injen short RAM on my Camry SC and NEVER had a problem.
Go in with stuff on and ask them to PRE-RUN you (trial run) and see if you pass the sniffer/obd. They will tell you ahead of time if the pipes are a *problem*...ask them!
They're not going to run the car and have you *pass* the trial run and THEN fail to tell you that you WON'T PASS the visual...get it?
