Well so far NE Ohio has been pretty good. I bought continental extreme contact tires for this winter. They are all season but when there was some snow they were amazing. Just wondering how everyone else out there driving their balts this winter are doing.

 

well, mines covered in dirt/salt and I have paint chipping off three of my wheels... and im getting 22 mpg. lol so not great. but she did great in the snow with the goodyear eagle GT's!

 

ill find out with my ky drive to cali and back lol

 

Doing good, only had a couple dumps of snow so far but got the winter shoes on early so no problems at all getting around. A bit dirty thats about it.

 

Mine's doing great, it loves soaking up the nice, semi warm, dry garage

i think the worst part about it is how dirty the car is all of the time haha

 

sitting in the parking lot- only gets driven when theres absolutley no snow on the ground. thank god for the father in laws company suv!! :-)

 

I have semi-bald front tires didn't do halfbad in the 6-8" of snow we had.

 

Mines doing great......she did get pissed off at me when i tried to drive her before here warm up cycle was over in 30 degree weather...i will not be doing that again

mines all good. winter tires, and shes handles the snow perfectly. little dirty from the sand they throw down but i get a car wash 1once a week. when im not driving its in the garage.

 

My SC is doing great as my DD on 205/60/16 General Altimax snows. tires were about 340.00 Can delivered from JC Whitney. No tax or duty FTW.

 

Doing great here other than staying dirty because it's too cold to get a car wash. Had snow over the Christmas weekend. I'm honestly shocked on how well it performed in the snow with the stock Conti's and no LSD. Now turn traction control off... well, that's a different story Oh, and as someone said previously, this car hates you if you don't let it warm up before getting on it. I was trying to pull out of my neighborhood when it was cold and the engine wasn't warm enough and it felt slower than my G5

Having said that, if you aren't on winter tires, drive very carefully and plan ahead for stops...but that should just be common knowledge

 

Its been great! Houston, TX...lol it was 73 yesterday afternoon and 50 this morning The LNF loves the cold air and no snow on the streets

 

Fine as it did last winter. Even when we got 3 or 4 feet of snow dumped on us in a day and a bit it got through it without a problem while I watched numerous people in my neighbourhood get stuck (I just had to turn off traction control as usual). Had the Michelin Alpin PA3s for two seasons now and for being a winter performance tire, no complaints . I had to make sure to clean out the intercooler at that point though....I was going real slow pushing the snow with the lower lip and intercooler...she got packed up pretty hard.

Also happy to see the R1s + Hawk HPS work well in the cold/wet weather, and my slide pins are staying properly lubricated this year since servicing them myself. No more binding for me!

 

hahahahhaa! gotta love tx weather... NOT! im west of you and im sittin pretty, thank god cuz i need new tire on mine, i dont think i could handle the wet/icy crap we get jan/feb/mrch time of year lol... oh btw washed it the other day too, looked great

 

We had our snow and I thought the summer tires would suck, but I underestimated how sucky they'd be. It was terrible. I got stuck too much, I bought new tires and it stopped snowing and the forecast is saying no snow for awhile. No sticking snow anyway... figures

 

i just bought some HHR 17" rims for $100 with tires included that fit with 5mm spacers so im doing pretty good lol and honestly they could of fit with 3mm spacers

 

We've had snow on the ground for a couple months now and the SS/TC is having fun proper winter tires and knowing how to drive in winter means you can drive any car year round.

 

well i guess if you see some news feed with a ss balt vr wingless with prob a bashed in hahn intercooler its me because i love the snow lmao. And where i am gonna be going in cali theres 12 feet lol

 

I'm also rocking the Continental Extreme Contact DWSs. They're actually an All Season Tire that actually works in the snow. :-)

 

Stock Conti's working 'semi-great' in the snow LSD would have helped.

 

I got those and they are great, I can actually climb 2% gradients in fresh snow now, rofl.

The stock conti's would have me in a ditch or another car by now.
