headlight in-op

alright, as dumb as this sounds my headlight isnt working, all I need are reasonable suggestions for what to do next.

Circumstance: I just had my power steering assist motor changed (I think its a related problem)

What I've done: obviously pulled the bulb put it in the other side and looked at the filament to ensure its still good, once I saw the bulb is good, I checked the fuse under the hood, its also good, HOWEVER: it doesnt seem to be getting power to the fuse box (although not tested with a test light, I am fairly certain given a new fuse still wouldnt work) which makes me think the issue lays at the switch.

The switch is in the steering column (obviously) so I followed the wires from the switch down the steering column and around the power steering assist motor (which was just changed) and I dont see any signs of damage, rust, cuts, tears, splices, pinches in the wires...it all looks sound under the dash.

Any suggestions for something to search for next?

just buy a new bulb and try a new fuse. simple things first. also check ur wiring harness in the headlight. very possible that one of those wires got pinched and split. happened to me on numerous occasions.
