Was it warmed up all the way?

You need to datalog it with Vince to fine tune it also.

You need to tune it. Then data log it and send the data log to vince so he can fine tune it and work out all the tweeks. Each car is different so Vince makes tweeks as needed to get your car running the way you want it.

Datalogging is a MUST for any tune. The first tune you are sent is a barebones basic tune that needs to be modified to your specific car, bolt-ons, atmospheric conditions, ect. Without this process the car may (and more than likely will) run into issues. You will need to send Vince datalogs and load new tune files quite a few times to get everything dialed in just right. This is a normal process for tuning ANY vehicle. With it being the weekend and all, your best bet would be to reload the stock file until Vince can start the retuning process with you

No, you keep the tuner. You need an SD card or MICRO SD card. You plug it into the tuner save your log file to it. Take the SD card out of the tuner and plug it into your computer. And then just email the file to vince. He'll send you a new file and you just save it to the sd card and the rest is taken care of. Vince will go into more detail with you about how to do it.

SOunds like a coilpack. If your car is under warranty, a flash back to stock take it to the dealer, they will fix it for free

its pointless to relog/retune if you have a bad coil

Drew is right in something is wrong. Tune shouldnt be having problems once flashed back to stock. Not throwing a light or anything, right?

He has a flashing CEL, im guessing its a chronic missfire by the CP (coils)

That's an easy test. Derek, the tuner trifecta sent you is also a scan tool. It'll tell you what cylinders are misfiring. check the codes. if its in just one cylinder go ahead and remeber which cylinder. clear the codes. pop your hood and swap your coil packs. swap 1 and 2 with each other and 3 and 4 with each other. take the car for a cruise and let the check engine light pop up. check the codes again. if, say #3 was misfiring and now #4 is then it was that coil pack.

Wish I could remember how to get into the scanner. Been about two years since I fiddled with one.

Being a coil pack would it just break up under boost?

Can't figure out how to use the trifecta hand held thing as a scanner

well the coil pack is whats sends the signal to the spark plug to fire...soo if its not sending enough or at all and the plug isnt firing. then yes.

I'm sure there are instructions that came with or are on the trifecta website?

email vince if you are having problems. There should be a code scanner option, under options

Sounds like a bad coil pack or bad plugs. Did you change the spark plugs recently? Make sure they are gapped correctly if you did. If it's only doing it under boost it sounds like spark blow out. It's not your tune, that's for sure.

It's not a bad coil pack, it's a boost leak. You need to run a boost leak test. Were you coming out of the 23psi tune at WOT when it started to occur?

Okay, I take that back. Most on here will disconnect the battery, take the coilpack for #2 and switch it with another cylinder, then hook everything back up and drive it to see if the issue follows the coilpack.
