yeah i'll be sure to get it retuned, waiting for an email back on what all was tuned if Vince can tell me. I'm sure he is asleep now though.

Plan on finishing boltons and will be sure to get it retuned. Probably with you(AndrewSS/TC logging and cobaltss3 or whoever doing the tuning.

Nice to know it's there already though, just need to bash the wife so she'll let me spend money on it. :| Marriage kills hobbies.

Thats awesome you got a tuned car already. Haha.

Also, don't waste your money or time on octane boosters. They don't do anything and in some cases can hurt performance. If you want a real octane booster, find some 100+ octane gas to mix with the 87 but it looks like you're just about done with that tank. Never know, she may do it again though...

That can be done. James knows his stuff.
I'll have to take you for a ride in my car on e47, runs pretty good!

I'll be sure to fill it up from now on, she only put in a little bit, i'm at a little over 1/4 tank left, so i'll just drive around a little extra after work.
When tuned I'm pretty sure 91+ is necessary.

Sounds good, there is an e85 station near me, its about 5 minutes out of my usual route to/from work. Wonder if I should look into that. It's about 50cents cheaper than premium right now. Wife would be all for that, not knowing the devious intentions in my lust for more HP.

True, but the tuning is on point. I've beat an aggressive tuned Trifecta car on 93 with my 91 tune. I wanna see how much id lose by to an e47 car.

i wish that i lived closer. lol. just kidding. timing is just one thing. you can also lean the car out a tad more too. my clutch is what is holding me back right now. i have the wastegate duty cycle table turned way down in the midrange just so the clutch wont slip. lol.

if you aren't getting any slip at all, you are nowhere near your max potential.

Or my new stock clutch has 2k on it. Lol. I learned the clutch only slips from a 60 roll. I don't do those ever so as long as I keep the rpm high enough before flooring it im fine. Its hiatus a good tune too this.

in hptuners, you can check your 60-100mph times when doing a log. i do this on a semi-regular basis. i always use the same stretch of road. when checking your changes/adjustments, its alot better than the butt dyno. lol. best 60-100 run on the gas ever was 5.49 seconds. (i believe they say bone stock is around 8.5) i am a sedan for what its worth lol. after a few tweaks on the e (and turning down the wastegate in the midrange) with the clutch slightly slipping almost the entire way to redline, it ran a 5.05 60-100. my only mods are drop in kn air filter, and a catless downpipe. not bad for a lightly modded sedan??
