How good a deal did you get on your new 09 SS?

I'm really interested in getting one of these new TC cars, but I want an 09 so that I can get a 4 door (it will be my winter beater).
I have seen a few posts on what people have paid for new 09's lately, but was just trying to get more input. So if you have picked up a NEW 09 SS in the last few months I'd love to hear what you got it for to have some real world data. I'd love to get one below invoice WITH the 0% financing, but not sure if that is realistic. So finance rates would be helpful to know too, Thanks!

PS. Great site by the way, its been very helpful!

Sorry didnt mean it as an insult at all, I know these cars are great performers, and nearly impossible to beat in the bang for buck area. I just meant it will get a lot of salt on it and the back seat will get used often for transporting large items etc.

What are your winter temperatures? From the **** I've had to deal with (actually, more like listen to) with temps below 40*F, I'd never use this car for a winter car, it's a complete rattly, squeaky noisy piece of **** in the winter.

Thanks for the info, I've read that elsewhere too. Our temps are 40 on the warm winter days But the performance of this car will be worth some rattles and squeaks for me. I'm trying hard to find a lighter colored 4 door with LSD but no sunroof, for that reason of the sunroof squeaking, but there are only a handful in the whole country. Plus I really like how the whole thing works as a system, the seats, the wheel position, pedal position, pedal feel, and everything else just made a great experience. I'll just have to deal with any noises.

For those non-northerners that aren't familiar with the term "winter beater", it doesn't have anything to do with the car itself, and it doesn't imply the car is a "beater", but rather the nasty winter conditions it will be used in beat on it. Up here, if you have a second car and its driven in the winter, its referred to as a winter beater, no matter what kind of car it is lol.

Thanks for the prices guys, very helpful! Looks like some really good deals can be had.

Got mine for $23k OTD Canadian with LSD, XM and wing. That's using gm employee discount, $4000 cashback from GM.

Got mine for 23800 w/all options + cash incentive + a ridiculous amount of money for my tired old Volvo. So about $16800 or so in the end I think. It has some issues that bug me, but this is a lot of car for <17k.

Mine is also my Winter Beater, sorry to say I'm also wondering how good of a winter car this is going to be. This ****** has more squeeks/groans/etc than my old lady.

EDIT: I ended up taking 0.9% from my credit union for financing and taking the GM cash incentive... made more financial sense. GMAC will let you have 0% or the incentives, not both.. at least when I bought this car 2 wks ago.

$23474 before TTL ....(options in sig) I had to order it otherwise it would be less if I got one off the lot, but there are no deals for orders, at least not around here.

To me winter beater is the same as daily driver or AB car (from point A to point B) all mean the same. On one of my "beaters" the licence plate frame read "Just think...the nice one is still in the garage" I took both those cars to a show one year in the same class and won 1st place and runner up (of course the beater was runner up).

for all you guys saying OTD is that including financing or without? it would give people a better idea if you specified.
