wow.. someone's a tad worked up. Maybe you should crack open your owner's manual as well. I hear it's great for stress.

He got his answer none the less. Now I'm just waiting for him to ask what the conversion from liters to quarts is. Is that what the forum is for as well?

Toodles..

i believe you mean quarts. Only reason I say that is because I own an lsj and it takes 6.5 quarts to fill up.

1 qt is if I remember rightly 946 mL.. so 54 mL x 5 would be 5.25 qts then.. At any rate, it's just as easy to answer the fkn question as it is to be a teenager and answer with a smartass comment.. just saying..

I mean litres. the eco engine platform is a european (saab) one. The LSJ takes 6.5 Litres as it was built to euro standards for extended oil drain intervals, a green initiative, and it takes more oil capacity to make that happen.
for the LE5 /LNF GM got off that bandwagon.

lol.. I'm just sick of seeing silly questions that can easily be found with 5 minutes of work on your own part.

But then again I guess I'm just a teenager stuck in a 30 year old's body..

just sayin

i don't believe my comment was petty or childish...just stating that my lsj takes 6.5 quarts.

i knew that it's a SAAB engine. I just didn't realize that the quantity of oil was the same in metric as it was in imperial. Thank you for the education though...

btw, i look forward to purchasing your rotated trans mounts in the near future. is there a specific way to order them, as I've heard they are not located on your website. Could you pls PM me with the info, so that I don't clutter this thread? thx!

Yeah they do take more than what is in the owner's manual. If you only put 5 quarts in, it won't read on the dipstick. Put a little more in and then it reads full. Same thing happened when I had my SS/SC, had to put a just a little more in for it to read.
