Hi, I am new here but I would really like to find out how rare my 2010 Cobalt SS is.

Black
LSD
Low spoiler
Sport Pedals
All Weather mats.

After I purchased this I found the original sticker folded up in the glove box and was excited to see the LSD since the dealer had no idea what I was talking about and said it didn't have it.

I am very impressed with this car and the reviews. I was going to purchase a 2011 Cruze LTZ until my husband talked me into looking at the Cobalt SS. I sold my 98 Mustang GT Convertible to buy this. Way more fun to drive.

Black is not rare at all really lol but There is a site on here that tells you the build #'s

There's 2 black SS's on base so rare..not so much. Fun car to drive though

 

Well there are an estimated 5-6000 total Ss/tcs produced, about which 50% were black. Sooo...

 

not to rare the lsd helps but you choose the best color for the tc's IMO i love the light blue (wanna say it was imperial but i dont rem anymore) on the sc's

 

yellow and white sedans are pretty rare i believe. Now a white with red/black interior i believe is the rarest. Not 100% thought.

 

IMO I think the SS/TC is a rare car in itself, I see less of them on the road than Camaro SS's or even
Z06's.Just about the only time I see them are at planed meets. Will it be a collector car is yet to be seen, and brings up argument on this site each time someone asks. People say it's a 4 cyl econo car, but back in the 80's people said the Grand National won't be a collector car because it's a 6cyl car. All I can say, is that I'm old enough to have heard regrets from folks that turned Chevelle SS's into dirt track cars because they didn't think it would be a collector car. I sold my 69 SS in 1993 for $8800, and it resurfaced a couple of years ago, and the asking price was $30k. The kicker was that it was in much worse condition than when I owned it.

if it was a sedan i would say rare. i have only seen about 2. didnt they only make like 450 of them?

 

I don't mean collector rare but like less then 500 for 2010

All 2010's came equipped exactly the same. The majority of them are black. So you probably have the most common CSS that was made over the past 5 years.

And also it's not QUITE a majority, should be in the 42-48% range as it was for 05-09

In other words... my 2.4 was many times more rare than the OP's LNF.

Well in regards to my 2.4, it was one of only 60 in that colour for the year, only 22 of those were manual, and of those mine was the only one with neither sunroof nor leather. Don't think the OP can say that's the only '10 LNF of any variety, since they're all the same.

 

 

Gm Tuner Source has 08-09 breakdown by color; not sure if '10 has been released. "Soundjunky" was researching this-maybe he can chime in.
