how to recirculate a bov

so how do you recirculate a bov? Can you either 50/50 it as in 50 from bpv and 50 from bov or just 100% through the bov through that giant tube? For the 50/50 setup how do i set up the hoses? Pictures please. Do i need and extra hose or one of those tjoint things? Thanks for the help guys. Of and which one is louder the 50/50 or the 100% setup?

I think if you recirculate it, it will take away most of the sound of the bov, so what is the point of having one?

recirculating 100% will work exactly like factory ... no point just get forge if you want more sound.

you recirculate if you want a better blow off valve and dont want issues with the maf scaling.

recirculating will take away most of the noise, an atmospheric bov needs to have a maf relocated and if you run it with the bpv thats just stupid imho.

my recommendation to you op is to get an intake and you can hear the bpv pretty good with it.... go from there. the forge is ok but a lot of cars have problems with them. going fully atmospheric with no big turbo or anything just for sound is a total waste imho

Ya ive never had problems with mine i have the forge bpv with k&n sri and never had a problem i really just love the blow off sound. I want it louder and the bov even recirculating is alot louder than just the bpv with sri. Im planning on getting the black charge pipe with blue couplers and white lettering i think itll look awesome. And i think the turboxs bov is the loudest one. Not quite sure of that. I dont really wanna go with the hks because thats the one that everyone has.

you can disagree all you want but i know a number of cars that have nothing but issues with them and they are all installed right. problems with them getting stuck, leaking, and not holding boost. they are nice pieces though and very high quality. cobalt might have more sucess with it then i know but in all honesty if my efr running 25psi all day long was able to handle the bpv i dont have a doubt that the stocker turbo has issues with it. might try the forge out one day but only if my bpv fails me

if you want it for the sound thats up to you i just dont justify the cost just for sound though but to each is their own. tial is the best out period. turbo xs rfl i have also heard a lot of issues. a lot of the cars we have done them for come back with leaks a bit down the road but some dont. might try out the forge eventually so when you decide to sell shoot me a pm.

the way to properly recirculate is keep the bov as close to the turbo as possible(thats what you want even when u vta) then have a bung welded to the intake pipe and connect the hose from the bov to the intake pipe. you cant recirculate all bovs so make sure whatever you buy is made to recirculate.

Here's my Synapse Synchronic. I modified my K&N with a bung and threaded adapter for a recirc (needs to be re powder coated). Works like a charm.
