I need help!!!!

So i took my car to the dealer because i had bad oil leaks and sunroof rattles and bad o2 sensor and they are fixing all those issues but im also have a problem with the paint around the edge of the drivers door and where it meets the body and the service advisor calls me and tells me that someones been trying to break in my car so they dont want to cover it underwarranty but ive brought it to them before with the same issue and they tried to fix it but obviously couldnt. So if any of you guys have had this same issue and have reciepts or any documents that shows the dealer fixing the issue it would be a great help so i can show them at the dealer. they really **** me off...
Thanks Guys

It might actually be from someone trying to break into your car.

Post pics of what you're talking about so we can get a better idea. I don't have any issues with my paint or anything around the edges or anywhere else.

i have had this issue before and i did have it fixed under warranty. please post pics of the paint so i can see if it looks the same as mine. if it does i'll email you a copy of my warranty work invoice. there is a known issue with these cars. it's caused by either body flex and rub or (what the dealership claimed) poorly mounted door gaskets. when the paint rubbed off it was in an oval shape and you could tell it rubbed off over time since you could see the primer showing on the edge of the mark. i had the issue on the side of one of the back doors too.

If you got it fixed under warranty then you have a sheet desctibing what and how they fixed it. If it is indeed the same issue they should cover it. If you have problems i believe Gm has a despute line for dealerships being difficult. I would tell them prior to disputing it with Gm though as you could just create problems in the future of a dealer not wanting to help you at all as they would get repremanded assuming they are in the wrong.

ill try and take some pics tomorrow...and trust me no one has tried to break in to my car i live in a good area and my car is literally outside my jobs main window so i always have an eye on it. The only time i can think of where i wouldnt be able to hear anything is outside of my house cause i live near a highway but why would they want to go after a cobalt that looks stock and not my 500whp mustang thats got tons of bells and whisltes thats not even garaged and stays outside all the time?

I have it. They wont fix it for me under warranty. All they do is hand me a bottle of touch up paint and send me on my merry way....

I would have the police escort you out for that. You'll get MUCH further being calm and direct. No need to make a scene or scream and yell.

You have to insure expensive shipments. I learned this the hard way.

even if you insure it doesnt mean they are going to pay you back becuase someone still has to go inspect the box it was shipped in and how you packaged them up and 99% of the people dont get anything!
