Hey guys, I am new to the forums. I was just reading about how come of you placed orders back in April and are just now receiving your SS's!

My question is: Being from lower Michigan, if I were to place an order for an SS Coupe in the next few weeks, would be waiting months for mine? Or was there just a backorder or something? I know these cars have been selling like hotcakes, but the dealer told me he could prolly have one for me withing a few weeks of placing an order. Is that BS or legit? Just looking for some speculation/guesstimations here. Thanks all .

08 or 09??? they stoped making the 08's whats out is out, but they could dealer trade 4 1. if you want a 09 then you will be waiting at least 2 months

 

Dang.. Hrm... and I am betting there are not many 08 turbos still left. Especially the one I would want. I don't want to have to settle for anything. I want the colors all perfect n ****. Hrmmm. Thanks for reply tho.

I used Autotrader,com to do a quick search for new Cobalts within your area. Looks like Hamilton Chevrolet in Warren, MI lists a few SS models. Give them a call and see if they have any left.

I am at Dick Genthe in Southgate, on Dix and Eureka, i can order one for you. I'm already handling MapofTazi's order. hes at 3000 already and we placed the actual order yesterday. so were guessin about 4 weeks.

where are you getting yours from???? think abt it they released the first balts begining of june so its been out 2 month. W/e i guess we will wait and see but im saying end of sept. most places arent seeing 08's yet lol

the same gm that held the 08 cobalts for 2 months??? yeahh that gm, in the end 1 of us will be rite and 1 will be wrong and if thats me i will admit it, and if its you i should hope yo do the same...all im saying is dont hold your breath

 

my salesman seen 2 09 ss/tc on a car carrier yesterday at his dealership on their way to another dealer

best part is im lookin at 9 09 cobalts right now, i sold one monday, and we ordered 2 09 ss's yesterday. we expect to get them in about 4 weeks.

i hope that settles it. haha.

But I stopped by a dealer today and she did a search for me and I could prolly have anyone I wanted in days, in terms of color/options. There was a **** ton of them around Michigan that the dealer could trade around for.

But thanks for responses anyhow. Looks like I might be getting this soon. BTW, If any of you are car dealers around the LANSING/Durand area here in Michigan, let me know. Im curious of the different buyer incentives going on around here. Right now its 1500$ cash back, but she said that might be gone in August, but it might be like 2000$. Get at me

i just sent you a pic of an 09 sport red cobalt with the new wheel options. their just wheel covers but their very nice. we have 9 of the same car right now. its hilarious. in fact im goin to get a fleet picture of sport red 09 cobalts. ill brb.
