just bought a high rise spoiler

Theres only 2 bolts on the each side of the spoiler. The stock low rise I have on now has 4 on each side. Im just wondering if this is normal or if I got an aftermarket one or something. And Ive heard I could just use some double sided tape as that spacer between the spoiler and the trunk is that ok?

It needs to be bolted down and use 2 sided tape, make sure you cover the holes your not using or you will get leakage.

yup what he said

the wing blade does only mount with two screws on each pillar, use thin 3m tape to put the endcaps on.

and when you mount the spoiler to the trunk, do as ^^ said and use a combo of 3m tape and bolts. seal it up good!

If I use the tape do I still need to fill the holes?

tape over the holes with the 3m, it should seal it up good, just make sure the surface is free from oil and the like and you should be good.

What kind of 3m tape are you talking about? Foam tape or just double sided?

Foam tape, it should be gray in color and have a red backing on one side, its about an 8th thick i believe. Thats what mine looked like when i bought it, it may look different now.

Oh thank god someone answered the OP, I bought my New'er SS t/c and dude had a wingless trunk and Highrise and I Love the Highrise so thats what I went with, Anyway the Highrise is coming off the trunk a little and looks like it needs to be re-sealed and the "GM Kit" is $45.00 just for the Tape(I'm thinking) I havent picked it up yet, But if this solution works and is cheaper than we have a winner
