Was just quoted

Hey guys/gals, new member here. I was just quoted via email $20214 for the SS with no options. This includes $2000 worth of rebates. I was then quoted $21765 with sunroof, premium sound and high profile wing.

What do you think? I have to ask if this includes the LSD option as I don't see it anywhere.

21765 + 500 (lsd) + tax = 23378 otd

When I say no options I mean no sunroof and premium audio, etc.

Could these prices I was given reflect no AC, power windows etc? All of this comes standard.

$21765 seems really low to me for a fully loaded SS.

The price you were quoted is pretty close to invoice.
But definately get the one you want if your spending the money.
Dont "settle" because of a minor price differance.

order it exactly how you want it, and like all these guys say, make sure it has the G85. mine doesn't and i've got plans to get one.

i don't think you can get an SS without power everything. its all standard.

First, don't buy something without LSD. At $500 for the option, you'll be kicking yourself while paying a shop to do it for WAY more than that. I believe the only reason that chevy didn't include LSD was to bring the starting price under 23k.

Second, start negotiating for invoice pricing on it. The rebates around here just got increased to 1500, so IDK where the 2k comes from that you mentioned.

Invoice for a car with no additional options is: $21,766.58
With the options you mentioned, invoice is: $22,818.18
All the above with LSD is: $23,253.78
That price includes destination.

Thats invoice though.

MSRP is higher than that obviously.

I'd rather have mine bare bones with just LSD. But then again, this is a car I want to have fun on the road course with.

Welcome to my world. I know there are some around and they won't budge on MSRP now I was qouted before at 500 over invoice. Looks like they know that there aren't many around. I am having a hard time finding a dealer that will deal now that they have arrived.

Go to chevy.com build an SS CObalt then click on Find a Chevy. That will atleast show you which dealers in your area have had, has, or is going to get SS Cobalts. They can always dealer trade too.

Also remember the premium sound option is a 6 cd mp3 changer instead of a one cd mp3 player. Thats the ONLY difference. Both have the 7 speaker w/ sub.

Just make sure it has the G85!!!!
