I would say 24 psi is a good number to start at. And yes 10psi is pretty average for a meth kit to kick in.

Me personally, when i do my meth kit im going to go with an AIS kit. They are a little more expensive but seem worth it!

what about rear main seals, axle seals, clutch pipes, transmission fluid and a flywheel?
that adds quite a bit.

don't NEED new seals.
but which would you rather do? replace them and not have any issues, or not replace them and have to do the clutch install again?
flywheel - go to zzp's site. just buy a stock lnf one.

Why would you replace the rear main seal if its not leaking? Chances are it will leak from replacing it with the incorrect tool before it will leak from the factory on an ecotec engine... pretty rare.

And axle seals, if you do put it together and find it leaking, they're easy enough to do later that I wouldn't spend the extra 25 bucks if you don't have to.

Same thing with transmission fluid unless you have higher mileage.

tell that to my friend who replaced his clutch and had a rear main seal leak a few months later and had to pay all over for it to be fixed.
also you do realize that the transmission fluid spews out when you crack open the transmission? thats why you drain it. if you're going to drain it you might as well replace it.
also OP CED does have the seals.
we ordered them last week.

IMO, doing the seals is a waste unless you actually have a problem. I've never seen them go bad or heard about it other than just now on this one.

You only need about 1 bottle of trans fluid to top it off from the spill when you remove the axles. Separating the trans from the motor itself doesn't make a difference. Its removing the axles that does it.

Yes the seals are a waste unless they are leaking. I would suggest just using a OEM flywheel too rather than a lightweight one....that is of course if you go with the KY clutch. Or like me i just resurfaced mine cuz it didn't have alot of miles on it.

Yes I will more than likely go with a KY stage 3 or 4. Not really sure yet.

Well i have the KY stage 3 and daily drive it with my setup. (407hp/391 trq was last dyno) but then i switched to E30 blend and picked up a good chunk of power and trq and my clutch started slipping so 450trq is definitely the limit on the Stage 3.

Looking at maybe getting a Treadstone kit! Wanna just build it to like 450. Then build internals later so I don't have to drop the whole engine again to put a bigger turbo
