^ not really, their short ram kits("airchargers") are not very respected in the CAI world... they are always going to be hot air intakes...
their air filters are(or were, but even now people have decided that a dry high flow filter is the way to go) and with that being said because their filters are so popular, they sell a lot of intakes... but for people who tune cars, they always don't get the results of them as you do with a tradition "fenderwell" cold air intake that actually has the means of getting cold air from a source(behind the headlight, etc.)

I thought the whole idea behind the "cold air intake" was that it does bring in cooler more dense air.. but the trick is that it tricks the ecm into thinking that the car is bringing in more air and thus creating more power. Thats the whole thing with the diameter of the pipe and the shape and bends tuned to create the desired effect being more hp/tq.

well, honestly, on a turbo car it doesn't matter as much as most applications... being that the air is going to the turbo and the air is hot as **** once it hits the turbo anyway... what I was talking about mainly relays to non-turbo applications

Good luck... my information may not be accurate but I was told that the first run on these is very small... part of the hold up on the release was the fact that K&N merged with another aftermarket company and there was some time lost due to the combination of the two product lines....
Supposedly they are about 2-4 weeks out... bascially they are just putting on the finishing touches...

TTR just said it will take them 2-3 weeks to actually get them in. So, yes, they are up for sale, but you will not get it for a couple weeks, maybe more. K&N merged with AEM about a year ago. They are one and the same but still maintain separate branding a'la HP & Compaq.

K&N are their own company.
1-2 weeks for the K&N to get them in here. K&N does have them in stock.
