Cool KY Clutch! What Flywheel?

Was thinking of upgrading my lubricant to a KY Jelly Stage 3.

but you think i should replace the flywheel when i change the clutch?

a lot of my friends told me to replace the flywheel when i get the stage 3 clutch, saying **** like if its warped it will just **** more **** up...

but honestly, the car has 22k miles on it. and imo i think the stock flywheel is still fine.

you guys think i should replace the flywheel?
and if i do replace it, im not getting a stock/OEM flywheel, i will most likely get a lighter flywheel.

give me your advice and experiences on your upgraded clutch's!!

Many Thanks!!

Reuse or replace with another stock one depending on how it looks.

Lighter flywheels cause speratic misfiring, along keeping high revs to often and more. The only reason to have one is for circuit racing and drag.

yea i was thinking of turning balt into a autox car for the summer.

cobalts are pretty light cars, so i would think a lighter flywheel wouldnt do a lot of harm

but how bad is highway driving with a lighter flywheel in our cars?
anyone here have any experience with them? i know the engine can rev up and down easier with a lighter flywheel, so i can assume highway cruising will be really bad?

can anyone confirm this from their experience ?

the lnf flywheel new is like 120 from zzp
i have the ky clutch and i have my original flywheel in my car with no issues
the lightweight ones aren't worth it at all especially for the fact that cause the misfire code

Yup, just order the stock flywheel from ZZP and you'll be set. I wouldn't bother resurfacing the old one - just replace.

To resurface it usually cost 50-75$... If you lived in ky and bought a ky clutch most of the time.the resurface is free
