Lock out?
I went to get in my car this morning, & when I tried to start it, a light came on the dash with a lock & a car inside it. & the car wouldn't start. the boost gauge will spike 5psi, & that's it. any idea how to override this so I can drive my car again? lol! thanks guyss

first go to your bcm fuse panel and locate the 2amp passkey fuse and see if its blown. if its blown try replacing it. chances are if its blown then the wiring behind the radio has rubbed through and is causing a short and needs to be patched up otherwise it will keep happening to you.
this happened to me twice. once i was outside a friends house on the other end of town and had to fix it in the dark and the second time i was at the hair cutters with a friend and her daughter in -40 weather again had to fix it outside.

bet ya all $10 its the fuse.
the reason i say its the fuse is simple, if the key unlearned itself which is very possible there wouldn't be anything happening, no lights no nothing but with the passkey fuse blown the key still operates correctly but will not let it crank at all but will still give function to everything else.
