Question Loose hose?

I just picked up my 2009 SS last week and I noticed the hose in the picture below is just resting there. It's not being held in place by any kind of mount. Over many, many miles I am sure that with engine vibrations and acceleration this will start rubbing against something and cause problems. Is this supposed to be mounted? My car was bought new from the dealer. Thanks!

Nope... it's like that on every car I have seen... it's normal.

That's weird that they would just let the hose sit there without being tied down. Has anyone had problems with this?

Thanks for the info!

I haven't in 23,000 miles but check the 1/4" hose going down to the cold side charge piping. Mine was rubbing around the fan shroud and would have had a hole by now if it wasn't caught.

Same here. I cut mine where it was rubbing and rerouted it. Dealership didnt know how to do it...go figure.
