great DP, but you'll need an O2 extender or a pair of spark plug 18mm "nonfoulers" from an auto parts store....

can't beat the price, great sound, and u can feel the power!!!

BUY IT AND NEVER LOOK BACK

Could be for a reason

I know these aren't about Cobalt DP...just a heads up.

Scroll down these threads...

FYI my Megan Racing downpipe has cracked at the flange to the turbo. Throwing it away and getting a B&B twindump

interesting.... Ive heard this before. I wonder if megan DP's are CRAP

Looks like they TIGed it using silica bronze on SS. Either that or some other form of mild steal filler wire.

Racing B16 Downpipe
Complete ****
After less than one year here are the following problems I've had with this Exhuast section.

1. Hanger RIPPED off leaving HUGE hole in it.
2. Flex pipe completely broke down and fell apart.
3. Has cracks all over the damn thing.otor or type • View topic - Megan Racing B16 Downpipe

same thing happended to me, hanger riped off so I cut it and weld it the rest so it wont leak. Flex Broke too, Ebay FTW, $22 flexpipe, still they charged me $45 for installation. My recommendation, go to a muffler shop and have them made one for you, or you can try the treadstone midpipe section, it looks likes its better quality.Top.

This happended to Felix and me, he had the m2 downpipe and I have the megan racing, the only difference between them is the megan racing label. The two downpipes suffer the same problems, hanger ripped off, flexpipe broke. I spend $207 for the Megan Racing Downpipe, $22 for the flexpipe, and $45 for instalation thats $274. Treadstone Downpipe looks good but is $350, my recommendation go to a muffler shop and have them make one, or buy the m2 downpipe , cut the hanger and buy a flexpipe from ebay and have it ready when the m2 flex pipe brakes

Welds were solid and clean on mine. Damn near as good as the $1400 headers I had on my GTO. So I dunno.

It's just a peice of pipe afterall, no real complicated parts or bends.

Maybe...but we're talking WELDS and FLEX sections. Also the grade of steel used.
I dealt with Megan once with my other car. It was with lowering springs, which were very inexpensive. Well, they were
completely WRONG in ride height in the rear and they actually admitted it! They said the springs were sourced to a TIAWANESE Manufacturer and said they screwed up! I think Megan sources a lot of their stuff to that *part of the world*. Bottom line..ya get what you pay for.
Hope your pipe is as good as you think it is....looks can be deceiving.
