Mods Before Stg 1
I had a quick question about the stage 1 kit. I installed a catless downpipe and my computer has already "Learned down" the gains. So if I now were to upgrade to Stg1 will the tune compensate for the downpipe or base the re-flash off of the stock numbers? Unlike the aftermarket tunes were the previous mods can be accounted for.
To me, I would think that the new re-flash wouldn't account for the downpipe and give you the same numbers as somebody that was stock with just a stg 1.
Possibly someone could input on this? I was thinking about this on my two hour drive upnorth!

any mods that were learned out will then be taken advantage of once u get the stg 1 cause the learn down will be gone but it will take a bit of driving for it to do so or u could just disconnect the battery after the tune and reconnect it in like 15 mins jus to be sure it resets the ecm and youll be good no wait that way. either way that dp will give u the gains the stock tune took away

The second you fire the car up with Stage 1 all gains should be present. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.
how u like that zzp dp i assume u got the one with the angled bung no codes right? debating on that one or the hahn catless
yeah u dont have to do that but i think it takes a bit to dial it in where as the dis of the bat would be instant either way same outcome
You shouldn't have to do this. Doesn't the ECM limit boost pressure to "learn down" any gains made by mods? Once you go Stage 1 the boost will remain pegged at 20+psi, so any previous learn-down is negated.
