I haven't had any issues of heat soak yet on the stock IC tuned.

and yes i do have a solid motor mount because for some reason I don't like wheel hop and as far as the BOV (I think someone commented on that) I am doing a turbo upgrade when it gets warmer outside so I kinda need that. Wow some people are dumb. Atleast I don't want a fart can and go hang out with some honda guys lol. Dude you shoulda saved your money and bought a 1991 honda civic. lol
Misinformation is lose.

Solid upper mount doesn't stop wheel hop man.

Get the rotated trans mounts from OTTP, and put the stock mount back on.

And on this Pre turbo MAF set up, no matter the turbo, all you are going to do is confuse the **** out of the car.

At least it will go rich vs lean...but still...I am pretty sure someone makes a better recirc valve.

Then you haven't read mine.

I had one.

Got rid of it for OTTP's rotated trans mounts, that actually get rid of the hop.

Stock intercooler is big enough, did you not read my post?

Jesus, I am about done with this thread.

yes the solid motor mount does reduce wheelhop. I'm sorry if you think they don't but the fact is they do. THe stock intercooler is pretty efficient but if you plan on doing a turbo upgrade or swap then you better change her our. I have seen quite a few dyno graphs where around 300hp and up the stock intercooler starts becoming heat soak. And yes the atmospheric BOV does cause you to run rich but it has also been noted by boostking that this happens for a very small fraction of second and causes no performance loss. I believe he said like .01 seconds with the rich condition. WHen I got my tune I also had this checked by Trifecta and he said it is so small that it will do nothing to performance or longtime reliability. Please do some research before you make assumptions about something you don't even have on your car.

X2. A tune is the best bang for the buck for these cars.
I need those mounts I just have to convince the wife to let me spend the money.

Good, leave you freakin dick. Man I read through this whole post and all you posted was making fun of the guy for getting a new car, knowing nothing about it, and posting a question. Alot of new guys have never even been on car forums to know what to do. Why dont you chill out mr high and mighty.

OP, alot of guys are starting off with the charge piping. Ide say look into that as well as a tune.

A tune should always be first since without the tune your mods are useless. A catless downpipie and an intake seem to be the best mods.

a tuner is never going to tell you that a bov hurts performance.... why? when sales slump there are always dumbasses to buy blow me valves...

Notice the ones flaming steddy are the ones that have no ******* clue what to do?

Listen to the guys that know the car and quit spewing mis information.

And FYI for you guys, Solid mounts WILL NOT eliminate wheel hop. Period. Get over it.

WIth an air to air you will heat soak on a dyno...it isn't a water to air, that is why they use w2a in drag racing.

OP

Tune

Catless DP

Charge piping in that order.

Everyone else

Cry to someone who ******* cares

^looked to me like you were quoting me personally, not everyone else...

He can post useful stuff without being a dick just because he knows and others dont know. or simply say the topic has been covered in other threads, check the search bar. Especially if the guy is new here.

**** I am hear to stay, and had to ask the retarded questions at meets and in person to people to learn.

You live, you learn, and you don't give a ****.

Who cares?

The guy has enough info in this thread to have a 300whp SS with relatively little work.

And if I am not a dick about it, it won't send a message out to all the other lurkers who don't wanna read up first.
