GMS1 on my brothers car. Worst thing ever.

As for mine, by far the stage 2 rotated mounts. I wasnt getting wheel hop on the street, i rarely track it(havent since ive owned this one in 2 months) and it just vibrates to hell with the a/c on. A/C off she is smooth as butter if its on it just makes my sunroof rattle like all hell.

Did you make sure to tighten the bolts in the correct order? If you do the wrong ones first it can make vibrations worse.

Huh??? Please elaborate.

The only mod I have slightly regretted is the K&N intake. It's a great product, I just get tired of hearing the blowoff ALL of the time. Sometimes I miss being able to drive quietly down the road.

I was unaware of a tq spec or pattern. I did a search while doing it just to check on my phone and didnt see anything.

PM me some details if you want, i can easily loosen and redo them all without issue.

if I was to sit down and count every "chip" (but if bug cause the paint to pop off is it still called a chip?) - I'd put money on it right now, that I'm WAYYY past a hundred...
most are a fraction of a millimeter in size... but probably about a dozen are around 3mm...

but enough about the mod I'm mod I didn't know to install...

But seriously, why all the hate on GMS1? ~ from everything Ive read, it's all about the install ~ 909% of which would have been prevented if THESE were used on install
I mean, the tune itself isn't the culprit - it's either the splicing into the wire (and limited space to make a proper connection), or the lower map leaking (because of only one screw holding in place what used to use two)...

Yeah, but you’re from Alberta - where paint chips and cracked windshields are the norm!

Seriously though, the paint on our cars is not great. But I bet if you look around your neighbourhood – a lot of cars have paint chips and/or cracked windshields. At least that’s what I recall from my travels in Wild Rose Country.

Your right, the GMS1 tune is not the problem, it's the install. I've only had one problem so far (“No Data Available” message on RPD) = loose connection on the lower sensor.

Overall I'm quite happy with my Tune. But if I knew about all the complaints before I got GSM1 installed - I would have bought those adaptors for sure!

All the "mods" I've done so far have improved the car tremendously! And my VHT tail lights turned out great too (it's all in the prep).
Thank you. I'm so sick of hearing the VHT comment. It is all in the prep.

Damnit i want.... No correct that, need some star specs. I had these poor conti's howling through the hill country the other night. I wasnt even working them that hard either.

Also, is the Synapse manifold really worth any noticeable gain?
