Hey guys...
I have an 08 SS now and a couple days ago I noticed the moonroof was rattling a little when I was on a bumpier road...I've only had the car a couple weeks and it has about 19,000 miles on it...when you slide the panel back to access the glass panel, I can push up and move the glass a little...the guy that owned the car before was an older guy and said he barely even used the radio, but I usually have mine cranked up and I'm wondering if it maybe needs tightened....from the outside, the front parts seals perfect when it comes down and all four corners seal good..its mostly the middle section of the glass when it comes down in the back part..when you shut the door you can see it move up a little and I can push it down a tad as well...any info or experience would be great! Thanks~

 

Have the dealer check it out, should still have a warranty with the low mileage. They might move a little when you close the door no matter what due to the pressure caused inside the car. i know I can feel it in my ears when im inside and someone closes the passenger door when no windows are open.

 

Get used to it. Unless I have the sunroof open, I keep that shade pulled closed. I took it to the dealership twice for rattling, they replaced the entire bracket, motor, and weatherstripping and it still rattled when I got it back.

There's just something with how the frames come together that they just want to rattle. Never had any leaking issues and it seals up just fine, just noisy.

 

I think everybody's rattles.

 

My sunroof doesn't rattle but the slide thingy squeaks if I have it back to far. I just let the sunroof push it back when I open it and if I just have it up instead of open I just move it back a little.

 

Mine rattles and also makes a lot of wind noise at highway speeds. It's adjusted tight, pretty sure that's just how it is.
