Yeah i don't get what Vince is talking about maybe he is being to concervitive I mean I thought atleast I could get 23 and with a catless downpipe the rest of the exaust is like a catback minus the muffler witch is next but I prolly won't see enough to notice I'm just confused of his idea me being maxed at 20

Plus anyone know where I can get e85 in Florida lol

Vince smoked something good before talking to you

If you're in Florida currently get a hold of Terminator2, I believe he is still tuning LNF's and he's one of the best there is for tuning LNF's. He'll squeeze out some more power then Vince and give you a great powerband.

Might it have anything to do with living in Wyoming? Are you at a high elevation? Maybe that has something to do with it. If not, there must be something lost in translation. Even the GMS1 tune boosts more than that...

I believe it should push the same boost at each altitude it just takes more effort or time to achieve proper boost. 20psi shouldn't be all you can pull at high altitudes

I would actually think it would push more to make same power since the air is less dense but I thought maybe there could be some kinda issue. It seems weird. I'm betting there was a misunderstanding.

If I ever drive up a mountain I'll see what psi I'm at... Im sure it won't be 20psi

Idk what to tell you other than if you're happy with trifecta talk to Vince again and get some clarification. My personal advice would be to go with hptuners

24psi has been proven to be this turbo's threshold for good reliable power. Whats the elevation? Do an E85 blend if he wont push more psi or hit up BYT

Truthfully the threshhold for reliability of the turbo is getting maxxed out at 22-23lbs i think.. Now you can go over, but the turbo will run outta air and makes heat somewhat depending on elevation and ect. It safe to boost over this but you need supporting mods (Intake, exaust, downpipe ect. vINCE IS MORE THEN LIKELY KEEPING IT SAFE....

Not to start a trifecta bash but he also did not properly tune my 2007 cobalt ss/sc this week and refunded my money. He used to be much better , Ithink he is focusing his attention on some other cars right now besides cobalts...he likes them to be done on that first tune he sends and doesnt like to work with you or your ideas anymore.

Im in Florida and when I was TF tuned my car would hold as much as 25 psi in the lower rpm range.

Maybe your w/g rod is backed off some making you loose some duty cycle. Ive seen it many times where the car being tuned has some sort of mechanical issue and Vince pretty much throws in the towel and leaves you to you own to figure it out where as some tuners will help you trouble shoot the issue. These are just some of my observations over the past year

Yeah that's kinda what I got from this whole thing I'm gonna put the retune in tomorrow run it and see what happens cause even the kid at modern performance that has a 2010 cobalt tc said that doesn't sound right so if it's not performing I'm calling for a REFUND lol I'll go to CFT or that terminator2 guy or whatever

With HPT you can make it run as much boost as you want.

Boost isn't the detrimental factor in making horsepower...torque with the peanut sized turbo...not horsepower.

Take it to termi

He'll make you some power.
