MPx catless downpipe
MPx catless downpipe
i was interested in getting the MPx catless downpipe. I was just seeing if anyone as installed this on their car yet and if they like it or not. I was thinking of going with the Hahn catless downpipe but for a hundred bucks less thought i would check out this one.
I just got the hahn catless about a week ago and its perfect. Perfect fit and no codes, also can def feel a difference in power. It spools up instantly and really holds the power up top, I chose the hahn over the mpx only cause i dont think the mpx has an angled o2 bung so it will throw a code but if u plan on getting hp tuned then u could just delete it.
There have been a few members that bought the mpx downpipes. If you are going to be tuned then sure it doesnt matter what catless dp you get like RED said. If you are stock or with gmstage1 you will want to find one with a angled bung for sure, it has the least chance to throw a CEL.
I didnt want to deal with that cel crap so I ordered a high flow catted dp.
mpx's dp looked like it was made well though, I think the people that bought it were happy.

P.S. no codes
I have the MPx catless dp. It does have an angled o2 bung and three more for aftermarket sensors. I think any stainles 3" catless mandrel bent dp will have pretty much the same tone. Ive been catless for a while but it was a custom shop creation that wasnt stainles and wasnt mandrel bent.
Im really happy with the MPx dp.
