What recall are you referring to? There are no open recalls relating to the turbo per NHTSA.

I thought you were supposed to chill out until your car is "broken in"?

It was around 1100 miles for me. The car was much different that before and it even sounded different. A SRT4 anything is Cobalt food for sure.

The LNF motor does not "open up" fully until 1000-1200 miles. Once it does, you're good to go.

Many brand new cars are this way now. Just they way they are engineered.

...and don't forget, the dealer usually puts in 87 octane. (cheaper for them and just enough gas for test drives!!) that will def slow things down. make sure you run 91 octane or higher!!

The average SS/TC owner on here runs in the 13.9-14.1 range, which is about the average for an Neon SRT-4. That being said, I've seen numerous 14.1-14.3 runs in a stock SS/TC, and I've seen numerous 13 second timeslips out of a stock Neon SRT-4. So an SRT-4 anything isnt food for a Cobalt. Now the SS/TC does have the best chance at beating a stock SRT-4, rather it be Neon or Caliber, but it isnt an easy win.

Veryyy nice. Love the black and red interior. I think it really adds a lot to the interior. It would look really good if you paint the trim around the interior and stuff red. But leave it stock for a while, you'll get the itch to mod eventually.

So wait, back up a sec.. How did you find out about this recall and what is the recall number? Just curious because this is the first I'm hearing about it..
