My RPD confession!!!!

hey everyone! I have written many threads on this site about the RPD and have had a lot of back lash due to it.

So I have something to confess that should clear things up........."I am jealous of anyone who has an RPD in there Cobalt SS Turbo"!!!!!!

I think the RPD is one of the coolest devices that GM(or anyone) has ever made. When I bought my 2008 Cobalt SS turbo I was disappointed that i didnt have the RPD but the deal I got on the 2008 was waaaaaay too good to let pass by. Serious........I got my 2008 a less than a year ago with 10,000km for less than half the price of a new 2010(which is what i was looking at, at the time). Plus It came with a **** load of extra upgrades and the original owner was a neat freak.

When I hear anyone bitch about how dumb their RPD is, I shake my head. My eyes go green and I just wish more and more that I had one. I know many people will argue that it is a point less devices that can be inaccurate at time but I dont care.

I love my Cobalt SS Turbo to death and promise that I will own it forever........Therefore I dont want to always be wishing that I had got the RPD. Im on a mission to find one and I plan on being one of the first to buy the ZZP RPD plus 1 gauge pillar when it comes out. I love my analogue boost gauge too and plan on having the best of both world.

Wanna hear something crazy????......this is how nuts i am about the RPD! 5 months after I bought my 2008 SS I found out the local dealer had a 2010 SS Turbo on their lot. I drove my Cobalt SS there and parked it in the back......then I test drove the 2010 Cobalt SS just to finally see what the RPD was like. That did it for me, I knew from that moment that I had to have an RPD.

well that sums it up........everyone was like " whats this guys thing about the RPD?"""

Now ya Know!!!!! Thanks Everyone

Mostly instead of having just a boost gauge you can see the engine's torque and horsepower, g-force, boost, air fuel ratio, barometric pressure, temperature, and battery voltage. Oh and set up the competition mode. They are very nice pieces if I ever get a turbo ss I will get one with it. Whoops almost forgot, it has a shift light in it too if im not mistaken

Do you have it in the car at all times and able to look at it on the fly?
