I guess I have to be the one ***** who says it, but Why don't you try some other type of racing? Other than in a straight line? This car is pretty fast, but it was was also built to go around corners pretty fast. You will always be at a disadvantage to a RWD with a large V8 in the straights, but I'll bet you can smoke those Camaros in the Corners, eh? Straight line stuff is like a drug, at first your car is wicked exciting and fun, and it slowly becomes normal to you, then you need MORE POWER to get your adrenaline fix... pretty soon you're sucking some guy off just for one ride in his jet-powered dragster, i mean c'mon its gotta stop. Go to SCCA event. You'll probably like it.

He would need a huge shot of nitrous and all mods to even run close to a stock z06 or viper...

arent you a trifecta dealer?

Get meth injection to cool and up your timing. Your limited on your stock turbo. A nice front mount will keep your IAT's down and some meth will let you get some HP. Get GM stage kit MAP sensors and get it retuned for that. Youll put down more power.

I've data logged it 4 or 5 times and vince said that's all he can do, I'am tuned at 24 w/ an aggressive tune cause that's what I wanted

I dont even hold 23. anything anymore, I spike 23 and it falls right down to like 20.4 to 21.5

I know it's not gonna hold 24 cause stock turbo but I feel that it should atleast hold 22. something

I'm thinking I might have to get my money back and go with a tune from byt and not Trifecta lol

Well see I'll race my buddy who has Trifecta @ 23lbs and see what happens

You should contact Vince since you are supposed to be tuned to hold 24psi. Data log it and send him a log file. Maybe something is wrong, maybe you have a boost leak or something.

Yeah I mean if I tuned for 24psi I'm obvioulsy not going to hold it right? if so that would be sweet

It might be something to do with my bov so I'm gonna contact zzp and ask them if I can swap for the upper cp w/o the bov flange

^ and see if that works

You hold 24, then drop down to 16.1 now thats a drop

I tuned for 24, but I dont hold it, the lowest I drop down to is 20.3 but I'm thinking I should hold atleast 22. something

I'm gonna try the Upper CP w/o the BOV and see if that makes any diff. in what I hold for psi

The increase in air flow is going to cause the high rpm boost to be lower than stock intake & exhaust. Nature of our tiny turbos. You won't hold 22psi catless IMO.

Even if you weld the WG shut it will not hold 22 psi past 6200 or so. What RPM does it drop to 20 psi.

If you have stock turbo getting a bigger IC wont help much. You'll need to upgrade your turbo before you get a bigger IC because its going to need more pressure inside the IC to keep the pressure going through your CP to keep cool. too much space in the IC and not enough boost being built will cause you too lose power.
