Question Need your help with what you see in the pics for '09 Balt SS Sedan

Guys, need your help with this 'Balt. It's an '09 SS Sedan. What are you seeing as far as specifics on mods? The dealer has no clue about them and I don't really have one either.

First of all, does this car look familiar to anyone. Original owner was from Jersey.

I'm seeing:

Hahn 3" catback
Some sort of downpipe
Charge Pipe
K&N intake cone
It's got a "BYT Tuning" sticker so I'm guessing it's been tuned. Plus I pulled 25 PSI in 2nd gear.

How safe is the BYT tune? Warranty concerns, etc? Title is clean but was in an accident involving another car, but have no idea to the extent of the damages. Does the intercooler look stock to you?

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm guessing the IC is either Hahn or Treadstone

Can anyone tell me more about the BYT Tune? Good or bad? Only familiar with Trifecta, GMS1.

Aftermarket IC for sure

From what ive read in the past BYT was one of the better tuners to go through. As of recently there have been some problems with Nick himself, but I wouldnt worry about the tune.

Tune should be ok, unless the original owner asked for an aggressive tune.

Might log it to see what kind of boost and timing it's running.

Good idea. How do I do that? I would imagine I need to send some data to BYT?

You would need a laptop with hptuners to get a log....best bet is just to find a good tuner near you to check it out.

I've got a byt tune. I think his standard tune is 24psi, that's what mine is. From my experience as well as others he is a good tuner.

Not sure. Are those good?

This is my first performance car in a long time. It's modded just how I'd want it, with high quality parts. Just gotta make sure I have it looked over by a good tech.

Very excited! Been looking for one of these for a while Wanted a car that's under the radar, fun for the weekends, and good on gas. Can't beat the SS TC!

I'll post more pics when it's sitting in my driveway I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve again!

Star Specs are awesome in the spring/summer, for about 10K miles. They don't last very long, though, because of the compound.

Looks like alot of Hahn parts. factory BPV. K&N intake. Possibly Pedder springs, they are quite popular for this car.

Hahn exhaust, intercooler, possibly chargepiping.

The BYT tune is a great tune to have. Consider yourself lucky to get one. He recently stopped doing remote tunes so to get one, you'd have to drive to his house in the Pocono's. Hes a great tuner but because he suddenly made that switch and pretty much abandoned this forum, hes let some people with unfinished tunes and sales. Alot of people are mad at him for it. He has his own website that you can contact him through but some people are reporting that he doesnt even respond to those.

I trust him with my car.
Also his tunes are usually left unlocked.
