New member with questions ...

Hey guys, I'm new to the site.

I've read through quite a few posts on here over the last couple of days and these cars sound pretty cool!

I'm hoping to pick one up in the next day or so, any advice on what to look for?

I'm looking at this one ...

Used 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt 2dr Cpe SS in West Milton | Ohio

I ran the VIN# on COMPNINE and came up with this ..

Comprehensive Chevrolet, Saturn, GMC, Hummer, Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Geo, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, Chrysler, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda Truck, Mercedes VIN Decoder

What do you guys think ??? The only think I see that doesn't look stock is the air intake. There's no marking (advertisments) on it, looks like a fenderwell intake. I don't see the filter, so I'm guessing it's in the fenderwell.

Thanks
Scott

Looks very clean, if you don't see the filter then it's obviously a CAI, which one I couldn't tell you cause I didn't see any motor pics

Love the red interior too

Yea, they didn't take any pictures of the engine bay. The intake tubing is all black, I'll see if I can snap a picture later today.

Anything special I should look for ???

Yes the piping appears to be plastic, and IIRC there are balck clamps holding the MAF in place.

Yea that part is incorrect. Apparently whom ever made the ad wasn't paying attention.

Nice lookin car - but then I'm biased since it looks just like mine-just different interior. Looks clean from the pics. Good luck with the purchase.
