I went with this one: http://simotausa.com/carbonfiberoilcatchcan.aspx
Only $60 (for the regular version and $75 for the cf one).. comes with everything you need and is a quality piece...

Here is another link to try:http://simotausa.com/simotaoilcatchcans.aspx

Also found it in carbon fiber for $75 : http://prosportgauges.com/carbon-fib...catch-can.aspx

Now here is the thing... if you purchase the cf one you are looking at a back order right now. I ended up just going with the straight silver one...

The one I posted is a universal catch can (they pretty much all are)... Subie owners have been using this particular one for quite a while (the lower price is a bit new)... My husband is a Subie STI owner hence I just ordered one when he did (count us lucky - Subie owners have to install 2)... The thing I like about this particular one is that the level is integrated into the unit. Outside level indicators may get broken easier...

The one I posted also drains from the bottom... The biggest problem we have is finding the room to mount it. The area around my intake is already taken by the meth kit so it isn't going there. Once a soultion is found I will try to get pictures and post up...

glad to see this kinda stuff comin out for the balts, seems like all we need now in the LNF world is an aftermarket radiator with some kickass fans... agree? i been searchin all day for stuff like that, sent out a few emails askin if any plans could be made reality, cuz i feel very left out when it comes to the stuff we REALLY need for our balts... if its imports or fords or mopar they got it though.. gay right?

Better cooling for any car is a good idea so a bigger radiator with better fans wouldn't be a bad idea at all

I dont know about replacing the stock steel braided lines as is stated on MPx website. Is this true? I would like to see instructions on how the MPx can is installed and what lines are being replaced.

BYT should be able to fix that for you, he has the Trifecta Tables and one of them is the fan controls.

Wonder if it will fit with the K&N intake? Looks like it may interfere with the heat shield.

I'm debating on picking one of these up. Is it worth the $175 (I'm in Canada so after conversion, shipping, duty.... it's a lot more).

I honestly think it is worth it. I bought mine and it will be here Saturday. I will also post pictures once the thing is in. The outside indicator to me is not going to be an issue with breaking. The carbon fiber one just doesn't look as good of a quality as MPx. MPx makes quality hard to beat parts. Also to mention that this catch can is for the Cobalt SS. I want parts to be released for this car and I'm really glad we're getting them.

As far as the radiator and fan I would definitely purchase that as well. Seeing as these cars run pretty warm and the way the humidity has been anything would help.

I would also like a set of cams >.<

its a little expensive for a can with hoses barbs, mine was alot cheaper and looks the same.BUT from what I hear the absolute best setup is one with a breather on the top of the can.

I stand by MPx. I've also learned my lesson with doing anything unexspensive. You honestly get what you pay for. I like my car too much to go cheap. I want the best under my hood.

He doesn't exactly have access to the tables. BYT can tune on top of the Tirfecta tune with HPT, but anything proprietary to Trifecta (via tables thus far accessable only through Trifecta) is still only done through Vince. Either way BYT can still take care of whatever Badbaltguy would need... or anyone for that matter..
