What would you guys do , wait and use it up or put some octane booster in it ? I asked the dealer not to put gas in it but they put a full tank of 87 in . Thanks

Just drive it and use up the tank, don't go hard on it though. Assuming you wouldn't since it's a new car anyways. Octane booster is useless.

Octane boost is worthless and does pretty much nothing. Just take it easy and run the tank down and fill up with premium.

Yup they put 87 in my car as well. Not as big a deal for the 2.4 but you'd think the dealer guys would know the recommended fuel for the cars. Apparently not.

Since its your first tank of gas anyways you will be ok. Just don't beat on it. They did the same thing to mine when I bought the car

They filled mine with 87 also. I drove it normal for the first tank and refilled with 93.

I’m pretty sure that the computer will compensate for whatever octane gas you put in your car. You will lose power obviously but it will be fine.
